Anyone who knows me would probably define me as "immature" among many other things--this doesn't mean to leave comments about what I am!!! But I think I'm more mature than most. Dictionary.com defines mature as "fully developed in body or mind, as a person." Doesn't say much, right? I've always had this discussion with my mom about maturity and she always seems to define me as being "immature." What is this immature?

Maturity isn't a state of age or a state of mind. Maturity, simply put, is "being, acting and thinking appropriately within given conditions" (that's a jk original by the way, no plagiarizing!). We don't always have to act, talk and think like the typical "mature" adults. I remember when I was young and I thought about the 25...

I think I can accurately say that organized religion, for the most part, doesn't hold the same legitimacy it once did, right? I think so and I think I could probably talk your ear off about religion but that's not what I'm hear to talk about. But one thing I'm realizing is that despite the fact that organized religions (and ways people believed in them) are dying out, it doesn't mean the psychological defects of religious mentality have gone anywhere--what I mean is that people are still as superstitious, religious and upright stupid as they ever were!

I know a lot of people who, for the most part, are not very religious. They don't go to church, mosque or temple, they don't read bible/quran/torah verses all day, and they barely follow the...

I was trying to explain Scientology to a friend and could only think about this episode. So here it is for you all to reconsider this "religion" that actually has a "church" and claims to be a realistic explanation for worldly events. I'm sorry, maybe it's just me but I'm still laughing. This is the most ridiculous shit I've ever heard.

Wikipedia - creation myth (scroll down to the bottom, all the way)

I'm still laughing...

After I broke up with my ex-girlfriend (actually she broke up with me), a few of my friends came up to me and told me they never liked her. I have great friends, right? But seriously, she was a bitch.Even my mom didn't like her! And my mom likes everyone. I guess I'm glad we didn't get married otherwise nobody would hang out with me.

But i started to think whether or not my opinion of her would have changed during the course of our relationship if somebody told me they didn't like her. Although one friend said he didn't quite trust her, which may be the same as "she sucks!" So I started to questionwhether we, as friends, are responsible for telling our friends that we don't like their significant others?I'm sure everyone has a friend that...

Why I Love Linksys:

I love Linksys routers! Really. Everytime I'm walking around with my iPhone in my pocket or I'm at a place with my laptop I always find a new open network called Linksys. Thank god! Seriously, Linksys you are the very reason I am able to access the internet wherever I am. More importantly, thank you to that person who installed that network without any regards to security. By the way, somebody probably stole your identity, credit card info, and everything else you have! Sorry, i didn't do it, though.

Why I Hate Linksys:

The other day I bought a new Linksys wireless router for our new condo downtown. I've probably installed a dozen wireless routers for friends and family and I always seem to have problems. But thething is...

I remember when Facebook first came out, it was 2004 and I was at Boston University, less then 2 miles from where Mark Zuckerberg first launched Facebook.

Let me tangent for a minute, I knew Mark Zuckerberg, yeah, that's my brief moment with fame. I actually attended Harvard University in the summer of 2001. I was his roommate in Hurlbut Hall on the outskirst of campus. We didn't really hang out. Damn me for being "too cool!"

Anyways, back to the point. When Facebook was first released and hit Boston University, I remember waiting for the train with my roommate, Dave Brumaru, and overhearing a brief conversation between two people. As this guy rushed to jump on the train he didn't have enough time to ask for this girl's number, so instead...

I don't know about you guys but i love the fact that i can text message. Mostly for the obvious reasons, its quick communication you can use anytime without any even knowing your communicating. Also, it helps to communicate when you don't want to talk on the phone.

Well finally my mom got an SMS plan. Thank god! I dunno about you guys butmy mom calls me at least 3 times a day. Just to see what I'm up to, what I'm doing, etc. Now, though, she just texts me in her broken, terrible text message lingo, "John are you in boston how is your friend mom". did you notice there wasnot a single periodin the message. and she always signs it as "mom" as if i don't know who's sending the message.

Anyway, i feel liberated. No more phone calls bothering me....

I don't think that I can honestly express myferocious hatredfor airlines. Seriously, I hate all those fuckers! and the worst part is that they are soooooo nice when you're at the gate, or checking in, or on the phone with them. But behind the scenes they all suck balls!!! Big balls. Chewbaka balls! that' photo above kind of sums it up!

I can't count how many times I've traveled and somehow been fucked by airlines. This time, I guess you can say, was partially my fault. I just wanted to change my return flight from NYC to Boston. Can't do that without paying $150. Nope! Can't do anything without paying. Not only that but I have to pay $15 to check in my bag. WTF, mate?!?!

Another time i had to change my flight they charged me $200. Weak sauce,...

A friend once told me that "bitches be shopping" and i laughed. mostly for two reason: first, because that's thefunniestdescription ever, and second because itactuallyis true! But that's not what we're hear to talk about, nope! we're here to talk about (better yet, i talk, you read) about one important set of facts that all PURSE and SHOE LOVING WOMAN should know.

Chanel, originally designed by a french fashion and social revolutionary named Coco Chanel. This women impresses me. why? you ask. It's because my whole life i wonder why any woman could spend $5000 on a purse and $750 on shoes and not feel like a they wasted their money. (i mean, come on! there's people that don't have healthy water or food!). But that's a different topic. Today...
